Mission
The mission of the Digital Technology Center is to:
- Create, promote, and coordinate cooperative interdisciplinary advanced technology initiatives between various university
colleges and programs.
- Generate new ideas/learning and educate outstanding graduates who are prepared for the high technology industries of the 21st century.
- Promote communication between the university, other institutions, government, industry, and to serve as a point of entry into research and development partnerships with various partners.
Research Programs
DTC interdisciplinary research is carried out in four areas:
- telecommunications and advanced networking
- software engineering, networking, and internet technologies
- data storage, analysis and visualization
- high performance and scientific computation
