The Minneapolis Lifesciences Corridor is a partnership of physicians, health and research institutions, along with the City of Minneapolis, acting to advance the care of patients, contribute to a greater body of knowledge and create an environment that attracts physicians and health professionals to work along Chicago Avenue.
The Corridor has many financial incentives to offer companies interested in relocating along Chicago Avenue.
- The Minneapolis Lifesciences Capital Fund will provide early stage equity capital to a variety of emerging lifesciences businesses.
- The Minneapolis Lifesciences Corridor is one of the designated Minnesota Bioscience Tax Free Zones.
- Companies along the Minnesota Lifesciences Corridor can take advantage of New Market Tax Credits or Empowerment Zone Programs.
